The Bondi-based hair salon that should be your go-to for colour

The sun, as much as I absolutely love it, has caused havoc on my hair. As a part-time beach bum (realistically I'd like to be full-time but gyal gotta work!) the salty water and hotter than hot rays have seriously damaged the barnet. I was aiming for that whole hippy-come-beach-babe vibe but sadly was looking more like I'd been dragged through a hay bale backwards. Luckily for me, Hair Life Bondi were on hand and keen to help a blogger in hair distress!

The salon has been located in Bondi for 8 years and has amassed a wealth of experience through it's hardworking and passionate owner, Natalie and her awesome team. As soon as I walked in and was greeted by the friendly Ailis, I knew I would be in good hands. Ailis sat down and asked me in great detail what I wanted; she explained that my hair was crying out for a good treatment and colour correction (in the nicest possible way!) and I trusted everything she recommended.

Ailis was such a perfectionist and worked her magic giving me a full head of foil highlights; two foils bleach and one foil a darker shade which created an even warm blonde that looked sleek and tidy. Ailis mixed a bond builder called B3 into the hair dye too, this gave a much healthier finish to the colour and will dramatically help reduce breakage - always a win when you have a head full of dry damaged blonde hair! So a massive thank you to Natalie and Ailis for returning my broken blonde mop to its rightful shade, all with an edge of professionalism and creativeness. I'll be back, for sure.

  1. Based on flat graduation at lower section, he left the length from top to front, creating rather androgynous shape on his model. chiang mai guide
